Our Story

Founded in 2018 by mother and daughter Hayley and Lisa Krakouer, Emmerson is built on a shared love of family, design and travel. 

Inspired by the traditional elegance and sophistication of European fashion, Emmerson is redefining what luxury looks like for little ones in Australia. Hayley and Lisa partner with beloved heritage houses and emerging independent designers who share their strong commitment to quality, craftsmanship and timeless style. Each creation - from hand knitted layette to embroidered cotton ensembles - is thoughtfully sourced from designers included Atelier Choux, Paz Rodriguez, Marie Chantal and Tartine et Chocolat - delicate fabrics, timeless silhouettes and thoughtful gifting for newborn to two years.

Hayley, a graduate of Whitehouse Institute combines her creative background in Styling and Creative Direction with a passion for European childrenswear. Lisa, a devoted mother of three and former mothercraft nurse with a lifelong eye for style, brings her understanding of comfort, practicality and quality to each collection. Together, they are inspired by the way European families dress their children beautifully every day - curating a world of heirloom pieces that bend rimless craftsmanship with effortless elegance - celebrating the years of childhood with care and grace.

The Emerson boutique is nestled on Bridport street in the heart of Albert Park. The store captures that effortless French charm with classic wainscoting, restored vintage fixtures and soft, whimsical details inspired by the Emmerson duck motif. The boutique at 176 Bridport Street is open daily from 10am - 4:30pm. Hayley and Lisa can't wait welcome you.
