Our Story

Emmerson is a destination for the stylish baby housing a beautiful, curated range of European designer clothing, gifting and accessories from around the world for newborn through two years of age.

Emmerson was founded as House of Emmerson in 2018 by Mother and Daughter duo Hayley and Lisa Krakouer and recently rebranded in 2024. Hayley and Lisa strive to create cohesive seasonal collections from both popular trusted childrenswear brands and designers that you may not have found otherwise. The House of Emmerson aesthetic is classic, feminine and preppy - showcasing timeless silhouettes that have often been constructed in a more modern, fashion forward style.

Hayley Krakouer

Hayley completed a Bachelor of Design degree majoring in Styling and Creative Direction. It was through her graduate project that the idea for House of Emmerson was born.

Discovering a passion for beautiful high end childrenswear at University, Hayley quickly realised that she wanted to create a highly curated destination for the stylish little girl where Mothers would be able to shop from luxury emerging and established designers from around the world right here in Melbourne, Australia.

Lisa Krakouer

Lisa is a Mother of three now adult children and a qualified Mothercraft nurse. Lisa has spent nearly 30 years around children and knows that clothing whilst being stylish needs to be functional. Always having a flair for design and creativity, Lisa was eager to start the next chapter of her life and partner with her eldest daughter Hayley to create Emmerson.
